So long, farewell -

Wolverines - I have accepted a new position and will be leaving Clear Brook High School after ten wonderful, fun filled years.  I have loved every single day working with not only your teachers, but also with each of you. My students have taught me so many things and I will miss my time in the library tremendously, but it is time for the next step in my professional journey.  As of July 1st, 2016 I will be the Coordinator for Library & Media Services in San Antonio ISD. Don't forget to read for enjoyment, be kind to others, don't Google everything and remember to always cite your resources.  Continuing my "Quest for the Best".

The wonders of 3D printing

Freddy the tortoise lost over 85% of his shell in a fire, but thanks to the wonders of a 3D printer, Freddy has a new shell and is out roaming again. Don't forget the library has a 3D printer as well and students are welcome to use it for school or personal use.  The cost only .10 per gram of filament used and files need to be in .stl format and can be emailed to Mrs. Sullivan for printing.

We can never forget

On Memorial Day we can never forget the sacrifices given to us by those that lost their lives.  Thank-you!

Once school ends for the 2015-2016 year, it's a good idea to jot down these important dates for the 2016-2017 year.  

Outstanding work gentlemen!

Congratulations go out to the 26 area Eagle Scouts, but more importantly congrats to the 25 Eagle Scouts that are Clear Brook students.  We are Clear Brook!!! This is an amazing accomplishment gentlemen, you have represented us well.

Cinco de Mayo - get the facts; forget the fiction!

New tables ignite collaboration

Stop by the library and check out the two new collaboration white board tables. These are great places to plan out group project ideas as well as temporary masterpieces. 

Thank you for the $1000 grant

Mrs. Sullivan would like to thank the Clear Creek ISD Friends of the Library group for their most generous $1000 grant donation to the Clear Brook High School Library. Mrs. Sullivan wrote a grant titled "Learning in a whole new Light", she plans to purchase a set of interactive books called LightBox books from Follett. Once again, thank-you CCISD Friends of the Library group!
